We are using a hybrid meeting model to encourage as many people as possible to attend our meetings. But we may also need to go purely with Zoom for certain meetings — please make sure to note specific instructions for attending any upcoming meeting.
Attendance in-person is at Trinity Church, 400 E University Ave, in Fellowship Hall (a very large room). Trinity is near the corner of University Blvd. and 4th Ave. »Google Maps
Coming from the North: Access the building through the east side wooden doors. Fellowship Hall is the first room on the left.
From the South: There is a church parking lot and a south entrance that goes directly into Fellowship Hall. Enter from Hoff Ave just east of 4th Ave. A ramp leads up to glass doors. These doors go right into Fellowship Hall.
ZOOM. We offer a virtual option as well. Dr. Mack Sigmon, Pastor of Trinity, who is on our Board of Directors, has us using their OWL technology setup, which provides enough volume for people to tune in from anywhere. For all Zoom-related info (including the link), go to our next meeting announcement.
ALL ARE WELCOME!
Our Annual Meeting is in January every year. This is a much more informal affair than our regular board meetings, featuring pot luck fare, and is usually in Catalina Park, weather permitting. The board for the upcoming year is elected, reports are presented by the secretary and treasurer and brief updates are given. But, generally, our January meeting is an opportunity to experience our community in a more social gathering. We try to get the annual newsletter out just before the meeting.
